The Person in Front of You is more than a campaign—it’s a call to action. This county-wide effort unites voices for housing and hope, sending a bold message that everyone should have a safe and affordable place to call home, and the opportunity to thrive.
Launched as part of our annual Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, the campaign brings partners and community members together to raise awareness and inspire action for lasting housing solutions in Orange County.
Join the Movement in a Bold New Way
Join hundreds of local residents on November 15 in Irvine to create a visual declaration by taking part in an striking aerial photo centered on housing and hunger.
You’ll also have the opportunity to receive a limited-edition campaign t-shirt created by renowned local designer Trevor Girard.
With the ongoing government shutdown and delays in CalFresh (food stamps) benefits, many families are facing increased hunger and housing instability. In response, the event will also feature a community food drive led by the OC Food Bank. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to help support our local neighbors.
