NOVEMBER 12–20, 2022

WHAT DO YOU THINK—IS HOUSING A HUMAN RIGHT?

Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is a national effort that we participate in every year by creating a county-wide campaign to draw attention to homelessness in Orange County.

Over the last four years, hundreds of people and organizations from across Orange County have participated in these campaigns by spending the week learning more about homelessness, debunking myths, engaging others in conversations and shining a light on solutions for homelessness.

We are really excited for this year’s campaign—over 26 partners from across the nonprofit, educational, and faith-based communities have been hard at work creating the campaign and activities that will be happening in November.

There will be in-person events to attend, virtual discussions to tune in to, social media content provided, opportunities to connect with others and engage in advocacy and use your voice! Our hope is to reach every resident in Orange County and provide them a thoughtful opportunity to reflect on their own beliefs regarding housing as we dive deeper into this issue.

WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US!
