Education and Public Awareness

We believe in the power of data and accurate information, and have a number of different ways that we engage with the community to provide up-to-date knowledge about homelessness in Orange County and share both local solutions and those from around the country to solve this critical issue.

We engage in broad public awareness activities through social media, speaking engagements, online events, classes, social media, a video library, and other public educational opportunities. Some of these include:

Homelessness & Housing Advocacy 101 Classes

Through our well established and recently updated Homelessness 101 and Advocacy 101 class, we answer some of the most frequently asked questions about the issue, break down myths, and provide the most up-to-date statistics and best practices for solving homelessness in our community. We also provide practical ways for people to get involved! You can attend a class or partner with us to host a class in your community.
