Anaheim Ducks to Spotlight United to End Homelessness Initiative on Jan. 23

Jumbotron promotion and text campaign to rally support for supportive housing at Jan. 23 Ducks game, sponsored by Antis Roofing & Waterproofing Community Corner Night

  • To drive awareness for Orange County’s homelessness and mobilize community members during a week in which Orange County is striving to count every individual suffering from homelessness, the Anaheim Ducks will spotlight the United to End Homelessness initiative (U2EH) at its Ducks vs. St. Louis Blues game on Wednesday. U2EH is a community-wide collaboration empowered by Orange County United Way and is comprised of local business, faith-based and nonprofit leaders, as well as caring residents who are driven to end Orange County’s unprecedent homelessness crisis.
  • During the first intermission, the Anaheim Ducks will call on members of the U2EH leadership council to provide information on how attendees can get involved. Fans will be encouraged to text HOMELESS to 50503 to join the organization’s movement to end homelessness locally. The nonprofit spotlight is part of the Antis Roofing Community Corner Night – a season-long outreach program sponsored by Charles Antis and Antis Roofing that is designed to provide worthy nonprofits the opportunity to experience Ducks hockey.

Key members of the U2EH Leadership Council to be featured include: • Charles Antis, Antis Roofing & Waterproofing Founder/CEO • Susan B. Parks, United Way Orange County President and CEO
