What is WelcomeHomeOC?

Nationally recognized for its success and innovation, WelcomeHomeOC is the first housing navigation program tailored to Orange County property owners as well as qualified families, Veterans, foster youth, and seniors in need of permanent housing. Every aspect of this program to end homelessness provides greater ease and control, while treating landlords as equal partners and maximizing opportunities for all.

Benefits designed for property owners.

Unlike other housing programs, WelcomeHomeOC minimizes the burdens landlords have to face. Just tell us when a housing unit is available, and we’ll take care of applications, provide support, offering holding fees, and more.

And every time a property owner approves a recommended tenant, the following incentives automatically apply.

Every property owner is eligible to receive:

  • Double security deposit
  • Daily holding fees
  • Protection from damage and losses

Tenants are given new furniture and a range of housing stabilization services to support them in developing the life skills that make a responsible, desirable tenant.

  • Direct deposited, on-time rent payments from the housing authority
